A family story, two generations.
Where it all began
The story starts with Charalambos Orthodoxou, a produce trader, and his wife Antonia Psara Orthodoxou, a farmer. Together they brought the knowledge of the land and the knowledge of the market into one family business, supplying Cyprus and exporting Cypriot potatoes abroad.
A new generation
Their sons, Antonis and Andreas Orthodoxou, saw what the market needed and wanted to take the business further. That is when the idea for the packaging house was born: washing, peeling, cutting and packing fresh produce for professional kitchens.
The packaging house goes abroad
In 2026, continuing the family’s export tradition, the packaging house started its own exports of quality Cypriot potatoes to markets outside Cyprus.
